The Allen wrench was missing in package that had all the parts in it. It had been opened and taped back together. Luckily I had one that worked. I thought that was kind of crappy.

we got this bedframe to replace an ancient 'racecar' bed, as our kid has mentally outgrown the bed of his childhood (he's 9 now, lol). It turns out to be a very sturdy frame, and assembly was very easy. we did chuckle about the 8 'stpe' assembly instructions, but otherwise the text and pictures were sufficient for the process.
There is a lot of storage undeneath which his old bed did not have, and even his footlocker fits underneath it (the footlocker is actually an old telescope, but the case is 11x16x32, and it fit neatly under there). We have not decided if we are going to put the LED lights on it - that might be a 'later' task. as it is, it is great.
